Conferences are known for dull sessions, lame food, and lackluster takeaways. We want to make sure The EMMA User Conference conference is the exact opposite. Maybe you’ve already registered for the conference or maybe you’re still debating whether or not you should attend. Either way, keep reading to see everything we’re planning to make sure this conference exceeds your expectations.

The theme for our first ever EMMA User Conference is world-class member servicing. We’re gathering leaders from UFCW locals across the United States to tell their stories. They’ll explain how they’re innovating grievance management and member interactions to create world-class experiences for their members. I’ve been interviewing our guest speakers in preparation for their presentations, and I can’t wait to hear them share their ideas and visions with the rest of the UFCW community.
Your peers will be there.
As of the time I wrote this post, there were 53 registrants for the conference. This is a smaller number for a conference but it’s perfect for creating the engaging and candid conference environment we’re planning. The registrants so far include UFCW local leaders such as presidents, secretary treasurers, and directors from across the country. There are also some registered industry consultants and of course, your peers from the EMMA team. We all have a vested interest in helping the UFCW organization create a positive political path, and you won’t want to miss what we can all achieve together at this event.

If you attend The EMMA User Conference you’ll get a sneak peek at product updates that are coming to EMMA. One of our goals is to gather feedback on both the product as it stands and our plans for its future. The feedback you provide at this event could shape the product’s roadmap so it can continue to improve for your local and all other EMMA users.
You’ll have chances to meet with the EMMA team one-on-one.
If you’re a current user of EMMA, we want you to get the most return on your investment in the product. If you’re not yet using EMMA, we want to get to know you personally so we can understand how EMMA fits into your local’s unique member servicing processes. Either way, we are offering to meet with your local in the afternoon on Thursday and Friday so we can get to know each other better, talk about improving the way you use EMMA, or talk about how EMMA could help you create positive member experiences.

Seriously, do you even need another reason to come to Austin (excuse me, that’s my Texas sass coming out)? In the evenings you’ll get the chance to explore the city that’s known as “The Live Music Capital of the World”. We’re making sure to take you to two spots that are loved by Austinites--The Handlebar and Banger’s Beer Garden--for local beer, mouthwatering food, and live music. We’re making sure you get all your senses filled during your visit to Austin with all the sights, smells and tastes we can offer. Alongside this, all attendees will receive a list from our team of our team’s favorite spots to check out during your free time.
